I’ve started my little less than annual relistening to David Allen’s ‘Getting Things Done FAST’, an out of print seminar and workbook that preceded the book of (nearly) the same name. I do this now and again just to refresh my memory of the specific tenets of the system, and I always either pick up something I missed or hear a nugget considered irrelevant to me previously but now fills a hole.
Since Allen is considered the father of modern productivity nerds, I couldn’t resist this video clip from an upcoming movie on the topic, ‘You 2.0’.
It’s a little anticlimactic, but interesting nonetheless.
Allen also has a new book out called Making It All Work that revisits the GTD system and clarifies and updates it.
